About the Long Island Royals Baseball Organization
The Long Island Royals Baseball Organization is a dedicated youth travel baseball program serving players and families across Long Island. Our mission is to develop confident, skilled, and competitive athletes through high-quality instruction, structured training, and meaningful competition. We emphasize fundamentals, baseball IQ, teamwork, and a positive team culture designed to help players grow both on and off the field.
Our program offers year-round opportunities including spring/summer travel seasons, winter workouts, and fall play. We compete in a range of well-organized local and regional tournaments, providing players with consistent opportunities to test their skills, build confidence, and represent the Royals with pride.
We strive to create an environment where players learn the game the right way — with effort, accountability, and respect for their teammates, coaches, families, and opponents. Our goal is not only to prepare athletes for success in baseball but also to help them become better individuals through sport.
Our Coaching Philosophy
At Long Island Royals, we focus on purposeful development. Our coaching staff is committed to teaching the core skills of baseball — hitting, fielding, pitching, throwing, and situational awareness — while also reinforcing work ethic, discipline, and competitive intensity.
We believe that strong fundamentals built early lead to better performance later. Players are encouraged to challenge themselves, practice consistently, and embrace competition as a chance to improve. Development happens over time, and we support every player’s growth journey while maintaining a team-first culture.
Team Structure & Age Groups
The Long Island Royals field teams across a range of age divisions. Each team practices regularly and participates in scheduled games and tournaments throughout the season. Our coaches aim to match each player with the right level of competition and developmental focus to maximize growth and enjoyment of the game.
Where We Play
Practices and home games are held at local Baldwin Park. Travel games may take place throughout the region, offering players valuable game experience and exposure to competitive play across leagues and tournaments.
